Meet Amity
Amity Worrel trained at the New York School of Interior Design and Parsons before working under celebrated designers in New York City. She worked on high end residential projects across the globe. In 2008, she returned to her hometown of Austin, Texas and founded Amity Worrel & Co.
Amity built a practice centered on one idea: design for better living. Her intention is to understand how a homeowner actually moves, relaxes, and exists within their space — and then designing an environment that supports all of it, beautifully. Amity uses the same approach with every aging-in-place project, ensuring that decisions about mobility, lighting, and fixtures serve both today’s life and tomorrow’s needs.
